MANY THANKS to everyone who offered suggestions and help! Extra special thanks to Julie Laue Fuelberth and Autumn Brewer Vannatta for offering to care for my precious girl. I am so delighted and grateful that Insider Donna Burris Jones has agreed to take care of Elladog! We'll be doing an introduction meeting in a coupla weeks! Y'all are just amazing. 😍
Hey Indy-area Supporters! Checking to see if there's a chance anyone here knows a great dog sitter who might be willing to watch my sweet old Elladog in their home from Oct 15-20th. Maizie will go to her regular sitter - but that sitter no longer watches Elladog because Elladog is so so old and it makes her nervous. :). I had someone lined up who just canceled on me, so I'm searching every possible connection to find the right person.
Ella is 15, slow, can't do stairs, and can't hear very well. But other than that she is the most perfect creature on earth and is very low maintenance. She gets one pill a day, gets fed twice a day, doesn't need walks, and of course is house trained. She mostly sleeps and gets excited about eating twice a day, and gladly accepts pets and scritches, and that's really it! She's so easy, she's just really really old.
If you know someone amazing who could watch her in their home and who works/stays at home - and doesn't have too many stairs to deal with - please let me know! She gets along just fine with other dogs - but I'm not sure she likes cats. She's great around everyone - kids are fine too!
Trying to use every possible outlet I have to find the right Ella watcher. Thanks for any help you might have! ~Mock .
Daisy and I are back home after an absolutely amazing week in Costa Rica with some of our new besties! We are already thinking about where we might travel with y'all in 2025. Hawaii, anyone? :D
Anyway, thanks to Insider Donna Birch and her photo/video montage skills, we wanted to share one of our favorite days from the whole trip - the sunset catamaran cruise. BEST DAY EVER!
See y'all at 8am ET on Monday, January 8th during the morning livestream!
When I heard we were getting 5,000.00 back I wanted it because it really pissed me off knowing where it had gone. I have hated paying 30% for most of my working life. I hated the federal taxes I had to pay. I don't mind state or city because that goes for important services. Hearing what the Chicks said this morning, along with my sister and husband, I changed my thinking. I voted for common sense and that 5,000.00 of our former mismanaged tax dollars should go to bring down the debt. I'm good with that now. Shame on me, I based my decision on my emotions rather than critically thinking and that made me a Democrat, yikes, ick, my bad! In my dreams I do want my money back, but the reality is I voted for common sense so I'm sorry for thinking like a liberal ass, so gross. I hope more people agree with me. It's the right thing to do.
